Thank you for you post Heather. I love what I do and I’m comfortable to call it my business.
I can see the boundaries do become blurred as we build our business. We build our confidence and caseload often at the consequence of our self worth.
I’ve had to be strict with the management of my caseload as my practise has developed; your only need your first client to be later or over-run and the domino affect throughout the day can be a nightmare.
Hi Heather, thanks for responding. I think we all know that feeling. It’s not always easy to juggle the demands of time management with clients needs, and it’s an individual choice as to how you handle that. It’s when it becomes a persistent problem that it needs addressing, and there are gentle ways of doing so. You sound like you’ve got a good handle on running your business too. 🙂
